Product Reviews Mario Kart

For this post, I'm supposed to do a product review. Since this is a rant blog and I'm supposed to basically just complain the whole time, I've decided to bash on something that many people really enjoy.

Video Games
But not just any video game, no sir. This is the mother of all video games. A game that everyone has played if you've ever played games and one that almost everyone loves. MarioKart.

So I played this on the Wii, seeing as that the most common way to play it. I was sitting there for about an hour and I kept getting more and more frustrated. I saw the track, and there were several of the cars and such, but the screen wouldn't stay on just one. It was literal hell trying to figure out which was actually mine. Also every couple minutes the race would start over and tell me to press a button, but it didn't do anything. Well, an hour passes and that's when I realize the controller isn't even on. Okay. That's fine.

Alright so fast forward. I get the controller on and I'm actually in a race. I choose Toad because come on, Toad's great. So I get like 6 choices you got a cool racecar looking car, a couple motorcycles, and like a baby stroller. Okay, so racing in a baby stroller seems pretty BA if you ask me so that's what I choose.
So now I'm the race and in like last place. I'm getting game rage and yelling and such when I get one of those boost boxes and boom. I get Bullet Bill and wabam. Like third place. That's not bad, not great either, but this is only like halfway through the race, so I'm good. Now I get a few speed boosts and get to first. I'm thinking "hell yeah."  I'm almost to the finish line alright, I can see it in front of me and I'm about to win. I'm already claiming victory when all of a sudden this loud beeping starts up and this blue shell comes up and just blows me up. Next thing I know I'm in third place again and in so much shock and don't even start driving again until I'm all the way back in seventh. So much for that win.
All in all, it kind of sucked. Definitely a rage game. It cost me about $300 to play because after that race I had to buy a new TV so I didn't think it was all really worth it. Definitely will be playing again though.
