Music Hating

It seems like people love to hate on things. But music in particular. I honestly feel like people just hate on some music, strictly for the fact of hating on something. There have been several times I would be playing music that is least liked and not tell people what it is. They would then state at that moment that they enjoy the song. I'd usually then wait a few minutes and let a few songs pass. I'd then start acting really excited and be like "bro listen to this really great song." I would then put on the same exact song from earlier the person said they liked, but this time say the name and artist. More times than not, the person would be disgusted with the song choice and ask for the song to be changed.
But they liked the song the first time. Why does that change now that they know who the song is by? Why do people hate band specifically just because of what they look like or something dumb like that? I feel like that's about as close minded as one can get when it comes to music.
This is my favorite side to side example of the "modern to emo" music.

If you look at most it's usually a hate post about how "pop culture sucks" blah blah blah.

Examples. But let's face it. Both types of music has good lyrics. And both have "bad" lyrics. Like if you want some proof just look at old school Falling in Reverse.
I also love of 2 Chainz is an example of the music that they're trying to hate on. Considering since in 'Save Rock and Roll' Fall Out Boy has a song with 2 Chainz on their album. 2 Chainz is also a fan of Fall Out Boy, the second part of the Emo Trinity. So if 2 Chainz likes Fall Out Boy that means he also like Panic! At The Disco and My Chemical Romance, because let's get real, there's not a such thing as liking one of those bands without liking the other two. They're the Emo Trinity for a reason. They're all connected It's either all or none. That also means that 2 Chainz is basically an emo. So that's something to think about.
Drexl told me this was the most gangster version of 2 Chainz on Google images since he's holding a basketball.

But seriously if a song is good, a song is good. it doesn't matter what genre it is or who its by. (unless it's country, then it just sucks)
I'd also try to justify how Blood On The Dance Floor is good music but I figure that would just open a huuuuge argument so I'm just going to stop there.
